Pause for a moment and consider your options. Whether we’re talking about life, relationships, work, hobbies, friendships, etc. You have choices in front of you that can be made and these decisions will impact your life.
Goals and Dreams
Each of us has goals and dreams, wouldn’t you say? Some that we are bold and confident about and perhaps others that we keep to ourselves.
But what if this was the year of claiming them and working towards them. Delighting and embracing where we are while also anticipating where we are heading!
Realizing that I could work towards a dream really brought a brand new level of energy to my life! Once I really understood that amazing opportunities were on the other side of risks and unknowns, it gave me the freedom to take calculated risks. These risks came in the form of possible rejection, but when I stopped and considered it, I realized that the worst that could happen was that I remained where I was. But alternatively, if I took the risk something new might work out and take me well on my way!
If you will simply consider your options and take a calculated risk, you can step into an exciting new chapter of possibilities!
What’s Ahead
So pause for a moment and consider what’s ahead. Perhaps not right here in this moment, but in the months ahead. Are you about to close the chapter on a project? Maybe that will bring the perfect opportunity to choose something new!
Personally, I am currently helping with a political campaign. Once the election is finished and things are squared away, I will have a piece of my time back. I’ve already been praying and dreaming about how to fill that void. The opportunities and possibilities are only limited by my imagination! I can’t wait to see where God takes me next!
When you consider your options as to what’s ahead, be sure to include God in the details. Seek His guidance, pray for direction, pay attention to the needs around you. Perhaps your next great adventure is in your own backyard!
Who Do You Want to Be?
Did you ever daydream about who you wanted to be when you grew up? I certainly did! Wife and mother has always been top of my list, with entrepreneur thrown somewhere there in the mix. And then historic home owner is also in there.
Who do you want to be? You will always have your future in front of you – don’t feel limited, no matter your age. Dream big and boldly, the sky is the limit! It’s not always that you will attain your most frivolous dreams, but perhaps you’ll land much closer than you are now. It is always a good idea to consider your options!
Let’s take this one step further – what does God want you to do? What has He set on your heart to do or be? If you don’t know, you should ask Him! And when you ask, be prepared to obey. This might just lead you on the adventure of your life!
May each of us remember that life is full of choices just waiting to be made! Exciting adventures might be on the other side of our deliberate choice to step into something new!
Until Next Time!
Hope.
