Don’t you just love receiving a note?! Doesn’t it just delight you to know that someone was thinking about you and wanted you to know – and even took the time to write and tell you?! Since I love receiving notes so much, I try to be sure to write them rather regularly to my friends and family! I just love giving them the same delight that I feel when I receive one!
With all my card writing, I finally wrote my way through a mountain of note cards! I had a whole stack – some were gifts, others were shared with me, and still more I had bought ages ago. I really like note cards – especially the fun ones you can find at book stores and TJ Maxx – but I was rather delighted when I discovered I needed to order more! See, I hadn’t bought any in ages (yes, that’s how many I had managed to stockpile!) and my tastes have changed a bit, so I eagerly anticipated finding the “perfect” set of note cards!
I planned to get them from Zazzle or some other decorative, lovely place. I wanted them to be classic and pretty. Stylish and tasteful. I considered getting them from Etsy, something that was just right – that would reflect my taste and be pleasing to those to whom I send them! And then reality hit – work and projects have me pretty busy right now – so I decided not to spend too much time on my search. Searches like that can be quite time-consuming when I’m looking for the perfect item.
So I defaulted to one of my favorite sites – one of those sites I go to when I’m in a hurry and am not absolutely certain of what I have in mind – Amazon! With a Prime account, I have fast and free shipping on an enormous selection of items. I had looked for pretty note cards there a while back and was less than inspired with what I found, but figured I’d go ahead and look again – they always seem to have new things. I was so thrilled with what I found that I had to tell you!
Now it’s your turn – who could you write a note to?! Who could you encourage with a card?! Perhaps you have an elderly aunt or grandparent? Perhaps a cousin or a friend? Do you know a deployed Soldier – they love receiving cards from back home! Who could you write?!
Until Next Time!
Hope.
